Wow, this is so cool. It's my second day here at Hogwarts and there is so much to do. We had potions and got to blow up watermellons. It was so much fun, I really love it here. David was really good with his potion, he's meticulas like that but Steve wasn't and his exploaded all over the place! It was really really awesome!! After that we had lunch which was good, I can't get enough of the food here, way better then eating TV dinners at home. And then we had a care of magical creatures lesson. That was awesome, we each got to take care of a bird, and guess what I named mine? Jessica! Haha, I can't wait to write Jessie and tell her all about school, I really miss her but we are so busy its hard to get time to write. And you know what else? I think I might try out for quiddage, I probubly won't get it. But it will be fun to try to. Steve is dragging us down to the feild every night to get in some practice, and lucky me we hardly have any homework. I'm keeping up great. All we have to do tonight it write a diary about the bird and take care of it, I think I might take it outside with me to let it fly around! Alright, I'm going to go now, but guess what else? Stephanie said hi to me! She was talking with some of her friends who had to leave, she is in ravenclaw and she turned and smiled. She looks so pretty when she smiles, and she said, "Oh hey..." And I said, "Hi..." And she asked my name, and I was sorta a minute in answering and I told her and she smiled and told me her name...not that I didn't know it. And she said 'see you around' I certainly hope so. Alright...I really need to go. Mark.

WHOA! That was so awesome. David and me had never been on a broom before, but Steve was awesome. He taught us how and it was really fun. Dad had given me money when we went to get my books. I got a cleansweep 7. It's one of the best ones out now. I am really happy with it. I got on and Steve flew up into the air, I was able to follow pretty well, concidering. I think I might actually get good at this. Not as good as Steve but thats ok. David had a pretty hard time, but by the end of it he wasn't bad. I got to block a bunch of Steves balls but he got a lot past me. I hope he makes the team; he deserves it. On a lighter note, its late and I have other classes tomorrow. Alright, classes are over for today and we got some homework. David and I are going to play some quiddage to help Steve who is trying out for the team, they have two open spots on the team because a chaser and a keeper graduated. He wants to try out for chaser, so I am blocking the hoops tonight. I'm a bit anxious because I havn't flown before, but I'm sure it will be fun. Charms was sorta cool. We read through the rules and she taught us a simple color changing spell. I think I'm picking it up really quickly. We were told to practice it tonight and I already did that, and I think I have it pretty much down. Alright, I'm sorry to interupt again, but it's just so busy and I never have time to sit down for a long period... Steves literally going to drag us out to the pitch. I need to go bye! Mark.

It's my first real day of school here, David and I had defence against the dark arts with Steve. It was really easy so far, all she had us do was write about ourselves. I wrote like 3 pages easily without saying anything weird, it was pretty cool. David is a good writer too, but Steve doesn't like it. I met a girl today, she seemed pretty nice. Her name is Stephanie. She has pretty brown curly hair and is a little bit plump, Steve keeps joking with me and telling me I have a crush. I think thats silly. It's lunch time now which is why I can write, but I need to go. David is throwing peas at me telling me we are going to be late for Charms which we have next... later. Mark.

Today was amazing!! I'm in my dormatory right now! It's awesome, way up in a tower with a great view!! Its totally amazing, seriously. I went up and sat on a stool while everyone looked at me then the hat started talking in my ear. It was saying things like, "Ahah! You may very well be the one!" And stuff like, "You parents want for you to be in Slytherin...but I can tell you are not someone who would do well there. You are smart, very much so. And loyal beyond imagine to your sister...but I see more. HAHA! I know where to put you!!" And then the hat yelled, "GRYFFINDOR!!" At the top of its voice and my jaw dropped, I sat down at the table with a ton of people, many of which I had made friends with on the train. I have a friend named Steve and one named David. I think they are my new best friends, they are first years too. And can you believe my luck? THEY ARE IN MY HOUSE!! This is sooo great. I just can't wait for everything to start tomorrow, I am going to get to go to lessons. Real magical lessons. This is awesome. It's late now though, and I have to go. Bye! Mark.

Hey again, I know I'm writing a lot. But I'm so excited, I just got here, we went across the lake and I met a bunch of really nice people on the train. It was great. We're in the great hall right now so my entry has to be really short...they have a hat that sings and stuff. The hat is going to decide which house I am in. I can't believe I'm here... oh shoot. I need to go! It's my turn! Mark.

Wow, this is amazing. I'm on the train right now on my way to Hogwarts. I just said good bye to Jessie and mom and dad. Jessie started crying when I left, but I'm sure she is going to be ok. She can handle herself. We spoke breifly before I left, she didn't want me to go. "Marky! Please stay with me?" She asked me and she started grabbing at my shirt. She was crying, I didn't know what to say. I'm going to miss her a lot, but I have to go. It's all part of my plan, and if I don't finish school then how is that supposed to work out? I promised her, "Jessie, I will always be here to protect you." And then I had to go, I hugged her good bye, kissed my mom and then waved good bye to my father. Now I'm here. I'm a bit scared of whats going to happen, but I'm sure it will be fine. After I do what I have to do things for Jessie and me are going to be a lot better. I promise that much. I wont let anything happen to her. I need to go, I will write later!! Mark.

I just got a new diary since I'm going away to Hogwarts. I'm so happy, this is going to be so awesome. I'm going to miss my little sister really baddly though. I'm 11 now and she is 6. Her names Jessica but I call her Jessie. She is the sweetest, and I love her so much. I'm a bit scared though, I don't know what house I'm going to be in. Mom and Dad say that I will be in Slytherin and make them proud, I dunno. I guess that be cool, but I want the sorting hat to put me somewhere with people that I will get along with. Mom and Dad are really proud of me for getting in. I told Jessie that I would teach her spells and buy her a wand while I am there. Mom and Dad can get angry if they find out, but she is having problems with kids at school so I have to help her out. Besides that what kind of brother would I be if I didn't? I need to go, I have to say good bye to Jessie and my parents. I will write back later, Mark.
